Kauai Marriott Resort Review

The Kauai Marriott Resort and Spa is located near Lihue Kauai Hawaii.  The Kauai Marriott fronts Kalapaki Bay, a favorite surfing and kayak spot. The hotel also boasts the largest pool in all of Hawaii and has a wide selection of room categories available. One of my personal favorites of this resort is Duke’s Fishhouse and Restaurant, located on property.

A perfect Luau for your Hawaii Honeymoon

When visiting Hawaii on your honeymoon you need to be sure and participate in a Luau. All of the Luau’s offered in Hawaii include dinner with a show. One of my favorite Luau dinner shows is at the Sheraton Maui Resort and Spa. It’s located adjacent to the world-famous Black Rock Beach. This is also an excellent beach to snorkel at. I saw my first Hawaiian turtle here many years ago.

When attending this Luau on your Hawaii Honeymoon they offer two types of seating, regular and premium. If you like sitting up close to the stage (that’s my preference) then choose the premium seating. It only costs a couple of bucks extra but it is well worth it. The dinner is served buffet style and is excellent! You’ll have a choice of several main courses and many side dishes ,along with desert and drinks.

Westin Maui Kaanapali Ocean Villas Review

The Westin Maui Kaanapali Ocean Villas is located oceanfront in Kaanapali Resort area of Maui Hawaii and is perfect for your Hawaii Honeymoon.

This condo resort has studio, 1 and 2 bedroom units, all with full kitchens. The view from the condo varies from Island-mountain view to ocean view. It boasts a large pool and water slide.Ajoining the main pool is a “kiddy” pool.

You will notice that when you are greeted by people at the local store, your hotel and even when passing people on the street. “Aloha” is the greeting you will receive from locals. If you rent a car while on the islands you will notice that it is uncommon to hear a horn honk. It is considered disrespectful to honk your horn at another car or pedestrian.

Many Hawaii hotels have undergone a complete renovation during the past couple of years, emerging brand new. A most notable one is the Sheraton Waikiki.

Awesome Activities for your Hawaii Honeymoon

I recently sent a couple on their Hawaii Honeymoon to Maui. I suggested that while on their Hawaii Honeymoon they should drive the road to Hana, Snorkel on Molokini and go whale watching. If you have a rental car you can drive on the Road to Hana without hiring a guide. It’s simple and I supplied the map for them to follow with the points of interest marked. It takes about 7 hours round trip and in Hana you can eat a lunch at the Hamburger stand while looking at the ocean.

Snorkeling On Molokini Crater Maui Hawaii

We have many Hawaii Honeymoon couples tell us that while on their honeymoon they want to have several days of just relaxing on the beach and not doing anything. although most want a mix of fun activities and beach time too.

The best tour company to use for your Molokini snorkeling adventure is based out of the Maui Beach Hotel and Golf Resort in Makena. It is the first catamaran to arrive at the Molokini crater and that way you don’t have to fight the crowds. It leaves early in the morning arrives back at the hotel around 9 AM, that way you have most of the day left to enjoy other activities while on your Hawaii Honeymoon.

Whale Watch Boat Tour Maui Hawaii

The Pacific whale foundation provides an affordable 3 hour whale watch tour in Maui out of LaHaina Town. The whale’s are part-time Hawaii residents arriving from Alaska in late December and leaving in early May,returning to Alaska for the summer.

It’s important to reserve your snorkeling trip and whale watch in advance because of their popularity, they usually sell out.
